Moleskine Art II

I thought apart from clothes and maquillage, it would be interesting to feature something artsy once in a while.
Hoping you liked the brief introductory post a couple of days ago, I collected some more through the course of the week.

Lovely delights: Rachel Antonoff

If you are looking for some inspirational and most of all beautiful pictures,
take the time and pay a visit to Rachel Antonoff's site.
Her spring 2010 collection offers lovely ruffles, sweet pastel colors, and lace - obviously.

I am especially loving the last one, it looks so classy, yet so simple.

Gossip Girl returns March 8

Yes, I have to confess, I am following that show - Gossip Girl.
It's one of these little dirty secrets that you are rather hesitant about in public i guess.
Anyways March 8 is a date to remember (or in our European time-zone case, March 9 ;))
since GG will return with its new episode 'The hurt locket'.

Here are some pictures:

I cannot wait for the show to start again, weirdly enough I am really enjoying this season.
As usual, loving the clothes and compositions, especially Blake Lively seems so blessed with the wardrobe for her role.
To me GG is also a kind of inspiration-pool for everything concerning looks and appearance, the make-up, fashion and hair all is flawlessly taken care of.

What do you think? Do you watch the show? Are you liking it? Share in the comment section! :)

Moleskine art

This may not properly fit into the usual stream of topics on my blog, but I found it was worth a post:
Moleskine produces these handy and very practical journals which turn out to be quite popular among students. Yes, even I have spent 17Euro for a calendar.
However there seems to be a handful of artists that created their own type of scene around the agendas.
During the past few weeks I have bookmarked some of the nicest ones (in my opinion) and thought I'd share it with you.
You can also check out the links below, some of my favorite Moleskine-art resources on the web.

I heart beauty bloggers! by Mushine

I support and recognise the beauty bloggers who portray real opinions on products expressing their experiences, obsessions and daily discoveries.

The way in which we buy products are quickly changing, consumers are becoming more aware and are actually researching products before they buy. The internet is proving to become an invaluable source within the beauty community by raising brand and product awareness. Beauty blogging is helping the consumer to make an informed decision; bloggers are increasing by the minute enabling the consumer / researcher to have a wide variety of written material to read from.

The majority of Beauty bloggers are not professionals within the sector; they are blogging as a hobby, as a way of therapy. They do not get paid to blog and do it for the love of beauty. This is what separates them from beauty editors, the reason why they started blogging was because they themselves were researching and experimenting with products and realised they had something to share and wanted to voice their opinion. Beauty bloggers love what they do and are genuinely interested in discovering new and existing products, some are ‘professionals’ in their own right, having a qualification in something does not mean you are a professional, however experience talks.

If you support the beauty blogging community, please add this stamp to your blog if you have one!

Inspirational Photos: Country Road Winter 2010 Lookbook

Immediately when I spotted these Images I knew I had to share them:
Country Road is an Australian label that shows how to combine luxury items to a trendy whole.

I think most of them are pretty copyable, all you will need is a boyfriend blazer, some oversized pullovers and tops and skinny jeans. To spice up your look you could add overknees, use leggings/jeggings and wear a big leather purse.
Definitely something i will try out in the near future.

Hope you are all having a very good weekend!

Street Style: Paris

I personally love skipping through the 'street style' sections on blogs and in magazines.
What strikes me the most are outfits stemming from a combination of mere basic singlets and accessories;
looking at these items individually you are not immediately inclined to mix and match them.
However these very fashionable individuals sure are worth a look!

..because sometimes all is takes is a single image...
